Kwon Jin-ah

Kwon Jin-ah is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and composer. She rose to fame in the summer of 2018 with her hit single Good Night. Jin-ah’s music—mostly comprising of alternative pop and soft rock—has topped South Korean music charts and won her multiple awards.

Born in Seoul in 1991, Jin-ah started singing as a hobby at an early age. After graduating high school in 2010, Jin-ah began to pursue her dream of being a professionally trained vocalist, and in 2013 she attended Dong-Ah Institute of Media and Arts. While there, she began writing music and composing her own songs.

Over the last few years, Jin-ah has worked with numerous producers and directors, leading to her eventual rise in the South Korean music industry. Her second EP, Siren debuted at number one on the Gaon Music Charts and received critical acclaim. It was listed as one of GDZ’s top 20 albums of the year.

Jin-ah continues to release new music and actively perform her songs live in concerts. Her latest single Paradise was released in April of 2020 and has already gained international recognition. With her soothing voice and emotional songwriting, many believe Jin-ah has a bright future in the music industry.
